We have just completed our 15th Annual Graphicstudio Benefit Sale (has it really been fifteen years?). The event was a huge success and brought many new collectors and friends to the USF Campus. All proceeds benefit Graphicstudio’s research and education programs, the very heart of our mission. Artist residencies, materials, graduate assistantships, undergraduate internships, exhibitions, publications and more — all are funded through the sale of Graphicstudio editions. This once-a-year event provides us with the support we need to continue inviting world-renowned contemporary artists to our campus and studios.
Strongest Sales in Five Years!
We had a very strong sale this year. Our gross numbers topped last year by nearly 30%! In fact, gross sales numbers were stronger than our previous five years!
We sold many of our “one impression remaining” inventory from the main gallery, including the Wegman Reflectional, 2002, Sonnier Changaloo, 1996 and Kuitca Naked Tango, 2004. The hot artist of the year was Iva Gueorguieva, whose work was the most popular at the sale.
Free Print Winner!
Andrea Modica’s photogravure Cedar Key, Florida went to Joan L. Golub! Congratulations Joan!
Thank You Again!
